Caregiver Certification Training

Being a caregiver is a rewarding and fulfilling career. The State of Arizona requires caregivers to receive specialized training and pass the state exam. At Arizona Academy of Health Certification, LLC:

3. Training is tailored to your schedule and self-paced.
4. In-person skills training available
5. D & S Headmaster is included in this course.

Your training will consist of 64 total hours. 50 hours of training and 12 hours of hands-on skills training. The state exam is offered every week at multiple locations and times.

Training Topics Include: Legal and Ethical Issues, Patient Rights, Communication, Job Management Skills, Service Plans, Infection Control, Nutrition and Food Preparation, Fire, Safety, and Emergency Procedures, Home Environment and Maintenance, Basic Caregiver Skills, Mental health and Social Services Needs, Caring for the Cognitively Impaired, Skills for Basic Restorative Services, Medication Management
